The Feast Alabang Awesome Kids Cooking Class

Our family has been a regular attendee of the Feast in Alabang for a couple of weeks now and our son loves the Awesome Kids during Sundays.  Though We are not active members of any ministry as We do not have house hold help on Sundays, We still have a 2 yr. old daughter and my wife is currently pregnant with our 3rd child, going to the Feast in Alabang on Sundays has become a family bonding experience.  Hopefully in the near future, We would also like to serve in a ministry group.

A couple of Weeks back The Awesome Kids Ministry conducted a cooking class for kids. For Php 100 your kids get to be part of a cooking class and experience being a chef for a day. Not bad for a half day activity. Our son had a great time and experienced making chocolate truffles, making their own chicken sandwich and mixing their own drink. They even got to see how home made Ice cream is made. Turn around was pretty good, I estimated about 40-50 kids attended the event. Our son had loads of fun, made new friends, and their group even won a prize for best chicken sandwich, I think. They finished the day with a simple graduation ceremony complete with a plaque made from a serving bowl. A truly wonderful experience, more power to the Feast Alabang and it's members.

These are supposed to look like Chocolate Truffles...
